Show Way by Jacqueline Woodson
Soonie's family makes quilts. They have meanings -- like freedom, peace, etc... Everyone knows about the quilts. When someone dies, it gets passed on to the next person in their family.
It is named "Show Way" because it could show them a way to freedom or it could be the name of a quilt.
