1971 Newbery Medal
Mrs. Frisby, a field mouse raising her children, soon finds out one of them are sick - Timothy. So that very night she goes to get medication from a rat named Mr. Ages. On her way back she meets a crow and saves him...to find out the rest you should read the book and you'd by surprised how good a book about rats is.
It was a good book and would be great to be read out loud to younger siblings.
