It is about a boy named Leigh Botts who has divorced parents. He begins writing to a famous author named Mr. Henshaw in second grade. He writes to him more and more. One letter is on a book report in 6th grade. Mr. Henshaw gets very mad because of the very long list of questions so Mr. Henshaw likes his real name is messing a round.
