1961 Newbery Medal
A young girl, Karana, has to live on the Island of the Blue Dolphins. After leaving her behind the ship sunk. She lives on the island for 18 years trying to survive attacks by the wild pack of dogs.
I thought Island of the Blue Dolphins was a good book and other people should read it.
4 stars - It was a great book and I recommend it to others.
