This book is about a girl who grows up as a slave. She lost her grandma in her early childhood. Then Soonie was her great-great grandma.

The book is given the title "Show Way" because the girl had a way to learn about the passage to life.

Show Way by Jacqueline Woodson

Soonie's family makes quilts. They have meanings -- like freedom, peace, etc... Everyone knows about the quilts. When someone dies, it gets passed on to the next person in their family.

It is named "Show Way" because it could show them a way to freedom or it could be the name of a quilt.

They meet three ladies, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which. They try to help them find their father. In the end they find their father and everyone is happy.

It is about time travel and different dimensions so that is why I think it is called "A Wrinkle in Time."
