Number the Star is a book about how the families lived in World War II. The Jews had such a harder life than you would think. Also if you read this book you will learn more about the resitance and Hitler. In this book Annemarie (christian) and Ellen(Jewish) were just normal girls like us. The next thing they knew was that Ellen was being hunted down because of her religion. This book has alot of twists and turns!

This book was great because it wasn't just the fact which can be really boring but, this had a story to it which I thought was a great idea. So go and read this book!!!!! I give this book 4 stars!!!!!!!!

This book was about two families during World War II. One family was the Rosen wich were jewish and the other was not and they were named the Johansen. The two take care of each other during World War II because the nazi were coming after all of Jews and were going to take them away, so the Johansen family hide the Rosen family wich were jewish so they would not get captured. and they also run through tuns of dangerous events in the book.

I thought this book was good but some times during the middle of the story was a little confusing but over all it was great!

It is the beginnig of WW2 and ten year old Annemarie must save her Jewish friend, Ellen. Ellen must get to Sweden before it is too late and the Nazis capture her.
Her parents had to seperate so they could hide from the Nazis as well.

Lots of horrible things could have happened while Annemarie, her mother, Ellen, and Annemarie's little sister, Kirsti, went over to Uncle Henrik's house. (Annemarie's uncle.)
It was horrible for Ellen being seperated from her parents but it was all worth it when they got to Sweden and the war soon ended.

It was very suspensful! I like how the book has a lot of adventure while keeping things in order also.
