Tomie and his family want to move but their house is still being built. The road builders keep building the road lower and lower. Finally it rains and the rain froze and the road was good to drive on and they got to move into their house.

It was really good. I liked the way the events were so descriptive.

A family has been building a house on 26 Fairmount Avenue for a long time. When they are trying to build on it more and more stuff gets in the way of moving. finally, it is done and the whole family is happy.

It wasn't the best book because all it talked about is building a house.
