Claudia wants to run away because she is mad at her parents. She asks her brother if he wants to go with her. After they run away, they have to plan. If you were to run away, where and why? In the end, they go to Mrs. Frankweiler's house and she asks them questions how did they do it, why, how? She for one wanted to run away also.

Very good. I would read it again.

Claudia and Jamie Kincaid ran away to the Metropolitan Museum. While they are there, a crime has been done. Someone has stolen the Michelangelo Angel. Ms. Basil E. Frankweiler sold it for $225.00. As they were there they found some main clues. Finally they met Ms. Basil E. Frankweiler and figured out that Michelangelo did make the angel.

I thought it was an exciting, mysterious novel. I think Claudia was the best character.

Claudia wants to run away from home and she takes Jamie along with her. They get to the museum and start losing money. Then they were trying to solve a mystery about an angel. Next they were wanted then their picture was in the newspaper. Last, they were caught and sent home.

It's a pretty good book. Just at the starting of the book it jumped from one even to another event in a totally different place.

Jamie and Claudia run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Claudia is trying to learn more about the Angel statue. Jamie is a tightwad and doesn't like to spend a lot of money. They sleep in the bathroom and bathe in a fountain. In the end, they leave their belongings, and ride a taxi to Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler's house to learn more about Michelangelo's Angel statue.

Claudia planned on running away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and chose who, out of her four brothers, would go. She chose Jamie who's a year younger than her. They got to the museum and ended up in a mystery of who carved a statue. They thought it was carved by one person which they find out is right. When they go to the previous owner who has a page that proves that their guess was right.

I thought it as a good book and that it deserved the Newbery award and I would recommend it to others.
