Doctor DeSoto by William Steig

Newbery Honor

Doctor DeSoto was a dentist. He would fix everyone's teeth. He could do pigs, donkeys, cows and then one day a fox was walking by and needed help but Doctor DeSoto and his wife were mice. But after the fox begged and cried he let the fox in. After fixing the foxes teeth, Doctor DeSoto put glue on his teeth so he couldn't eat them.

This book is titled "Doctor DeSoto" because this book's main character had that name.
