Newbery Medal
Hollis Wood is a girl who has been about a thousand foster homes and ran away from every one. She was put with a lady who's name is Josie. Josie was an old, nice lady and Hollis also loved Josie. Eventually, Josie was too old and was forgetting things so Hollis went back to her old foster family.
It was given this title because every other chapter was about a "picture." This is a chapter about stuff from her past such as people, mountains, and all of her drawings. Hollis drew amazing pictures.
