The book is about a girl named Annie and her grandma. When Annie went to school she wanted to get in trouble so her parents would come. She wanted that to happen because she missed her parents. At the end of the book she wanted to learn how to weave but they ran out of the cotton they used to weave with. So she started to take apart a weaving piece her mom did and started to weave it back. I think it is given this title because there is a girl named Annie and there is an old person in the story. 3 stars Ryan L., 3rd grade, 2011-2012
