The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E. L. Konigsburg

1968 Newbery Medal

It is about a girl named Claudia and she has 3 brothers and sisters and is treated badly so she decides to run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with one of her younger brothers, Jamie, because he could keep his moth shut, he had a lot of money, and he had a transistor radio. Along the way of their adventure they see an angel statue and try to solve a mystery. They end up at Mrs. Frankweiler's house where they learn the clues and finally go home.

I thought that it was extremely amazing and I would tell people to read it.

4 stars - It was a great book and I recommend it to others.
