1961 Newbery Medal
Karana was left on the island. She tried to yell back to the white people's boat but the rain was just too loud. She will soon be alone. Karana was left on the island with her brother. She tried to yell. She tried everything.
I would recommend it to many people.
4 stars - It was a great book and I recommend it to others.
