1961 Newbery Medal
A young girl of a tribe on San Nicholas lives on the Island of the Blue Dolphins. When one day a ship leaves her behind with her brother. Later her brother is killed. Now she is stuck on an island. Will a ship ever return to the island to take her to the mainland? Will she ever see her family again?
I think it was a good book full of fun and adventure.
4 stars - It was a great book and I recommend it to others.
