1984 Newbery Honor
It is about a boy named Matt that had to watch his home all alone and his dad had to get the rest of the family. Matt meets an Indian boy and they become great friends. The Indian's name is Attean. Attean teaches Matt how to hunt. Attean has to leave Matt and go north and Matt never saw Attean again.
It is one of the best books there is.
4 stars = It was a great book and I recommend it to others.
