From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E. L. Konigsburg

1968 Newbery Medal

A boy and a girl named Jamie and Claudia run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There they find an angle that has an "M" where it was on the pedestal. They know that the "M" means it was done by Michelangelo but they don't know if it was a fake. The two kids go to Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler's house because they knew should would know. She told them it was made by Michelangelo and she took the kids home.

I thought the book was okay but the chapters were too long and some of the details were boring and unneeded.

2 stars - It was ok.
