Holes is about a boy named Stanley who goes to Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake is a place for boys who have done something either illegal or bad. All the boys do there is dig holes -- as tall as their stick and a wide. When Stanley's best friend, X-ray, runs away Stanley does, too. This book is about treasure, friendship, and some deadly lizards.

An exciting book about two friends who went to Camp Green Lake for the same reason.
