The Courage of Sarah Noble / comments by Tori S.

It is about a girl named Sarah, her father, and a horse named Thomas who were traveling to Connecticut by foot to build a house. The first night they slept out in the wilderness and stayed in a cave the rest of the nights. One day while her father was gone, Indians came up to her while she was reading. They listened, and Sarah soon became friends with the Indians, even Tall John. The Indians helped with finishing their house. When it was time for her father to go and get the rest of their family, she stayed with the Indians. At first it was hard for her, but then it was fun. They all returned safely and had a nice quiet evening.
