This book is about a hobo named Armand who lives on the streets of Paris. While he was away from his "home" three children with their mother occupied his so called home. when Armand came back he was very upset, but he decided to let them stay. When the mother came home she was very upset but let him stay with the children while she was away. They went on many adventures, some with Armand's gypsy friends. Soon enough Armand found work that came with a home so they could stay together, forever.
