This book is about a girl that says she has a hundred dresses. Two girls were teasing her because they didn't believe her. They were just as poor as her. Then on day Wanda got tired of hearing that so she moved away. The two girls were trying to find her because they felt bad but she was already gone.
I think it was given its title because that is what it is about.
