There were two kids in the story and they decided to run away from home. They go to New York and stayed in the Metropolitan of Art. While they are there they find a statue named "Angel" and try to find out if Michelangelo really made it. They go to somebody named Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler and she told them that he did do it. And then the kids both go home.

I liked it because it was very interesting and it has some action.

Claudia is running away and chose her brother Jaime to come along. They're running away because of the nonsense in their house. On the bus Claudia finds out Jaime has over $20.00 dollars and they hide at the Metropoltian Museum in New York City. It was a normal living until Claudia falls in love with Angel, a statue in the museum.
It was very exciting because you never know when they would get caught or in trouble.

A mystery where two run away kids have to find outwho made a myserious angel statue. A lot of people believe that Michelangelo made it. they meet Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler who is also trying to find out who made the angel. They also find their long lost Grandfather... in a way.

I would give this book one star. I absolutely didn't like it simply because, like sand, the story slipped through my mind. It wasn't interesting

A girl named Claudia is not happy with her parents so with her brother Jamie they run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.They find a mystery to solve there.(They try to find if a statue named Angel was made by a famous artist or if it is fake. They finally go to the seller of Angel and find it is real. They go home different because they know a secret that no one else knows.

Claudia plans to run away with her younger Jamie to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. On a Wednesday they run away. At the museum they keep a schedule according to the guards' schedule. They see this wonderful angel statue that is believed to be made by Michaelangelo but they do not know for sure if it is made by him so they try to find out. Eventually they go to Mrs. Basil E. Claudia and Jamie escape from home to the Metropolitan Musem of Art and become interested in a statue of an angel that they think Michelangelo created. Afterwards they go to the statue's former owner's home A.K.A. Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler to see if she could answer some of their questions about the statue and Michelangelo. They start up many conversations with Mrs. Frankweiler but stay cautious about not revealing to her that they spent many nights at an art musem. Once they accidently spill the beans, Mrs. Frankweiler makes them an offer- if the kids tell her all the details about their home for the past week she would let them have a sketch of the angel and a ride home...

It was an awesome book with lots of details and seems very realistic!

It's about two kids (Jamie and Claudia Kincaid) that ranaway from home and go to the Metropolitan Museun of Art in New York. Once they got there Claudia found a mystery to solve. An artist named Michealangelo- Did he carve the angel statue in the museum or not? So the kids quickly go to Mrs.Basil E. Frankweiler's house (the lady that sold the statue) and find out the real information. She gives the kids one hour to look through all her files and find the truth on Michealangelo and his sculpture.

I thought the book was good, but I don't think I would runaway from home. Exspecialy if I don't have alot of money.
